Couples Counselling

When a relationship begins, it can be full of hope, excitement, and expectation. As times goes by, however, what once was a strong bond, can sometimes become fractured or broken. This can be for many reasons, ranging from a lack of communication to infidelity.

Some couples may have been brought together through family pressures, or cultural and religious reasons, and together must find a way forward.

The pressures of everyday living can impact on a relationship to a point where hope feels lost. But, even if the relationship has fractures appearing, or it has reached a point that is broken, doesn't mean a way forward can't be found.

Rediscovering each other through counselling can help you reconnect. By learning to communicate with honesty and respect, in a safe space outside of your daily lives, together we can explore expectations that may have previously seemed too high.

My approach to couples counselling is to encourage each person to speak about how they feel. We explore an agreed realistic way forward that over time can help recover your relationship and individual happiness. I offer a safe, confidential, and none judgemental environment that is outside of your family and friends.
